This grand 2 storey plantation style home was built in 1988 and is located on the beautiful Turtle Beach along the prestigious West Coast of the island. The main house consists of 4 bedroom suites, plus 4 further bedrooms in two “chattel house” style cottages. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned, open to balconies and have en suite bathrooms. Rentals at The Great House include the use of a 30 foot speed boat equipped for water sports. The property is enhanced by an inviting swimming pool with poolside veranda where guests may sit in relaxed comfort, watch the large screen TV and enjoy cool drinks served from the sit up bar. There are two beachside gazebos and a dining room lined with French doors opening to the terrace and gardens. The Great House is a tropical oasis enjoying breathtaking views across Mullins Bay and provides families and friends (children are particularly welcome) with relaxing surroundings that combine the amenities of a luxury hotel with the advantages of a private retreat.

An efficent House manageress supervises a professional staff of 12. Victor, the senior butler, together with the rest of the team of maids, laundresses and gardeners will cater to guests’ every need. Trevor is the executive chef who has many years experience, originally in London and more recently at the well known local restaurants of The Fish Pot and The Town House (which Trevor owned and operated). The boatman John, works 6 days a week, will not only take guests water skiing but also for picnic trips, turtle-feeding and snorkelling expeditions or even shopping excursions to Bridgetown. For guests peace of mind, there are two watchmen on the premises nightly.
NB: Number of staff will be reduced for per bedroom bookings.
