American Airline’s Next Generation Business Class

American Airlines has created a new version of business class for their customers. Their Next Generation Business Class has new lie-flat seats that can be moved forward, a personal in-flight entertainment system with audio and video on demand and ergonomically-designed overhead bins. The new tray table design has two tables one on the seat back and one in the console, which can be used separately or together to create one larger area. The new business class will be installed on their Boeing 777 fleet beginning in 2007. Enhancements to American’s Boeing 767-300 Business Class are already underway and should be ready in 2007. The press release also promises that they are working on that whole internet in the sky issue as well.

Reserve Your Own Flying Car

When we first heard about Terrafugia, the company developing one of the first flying cars that would also be able to drive on the roads, there was not yet a fully-functional, working prototype, but it is being built. The Transition drives like a car and can lower its 27-ft retractable wings when lift-off is required. It has a top speed of 130mph in the air, and gets about 30mpg whether flying or running on the road. Though the final designs are debuting this week, the cars will not be available to the public until 2009. You can put down a 5% deposit on the projected price of $148,000 right now to reserve one, though the final price is not guaranteed as of yet.
VIP Airbus 319
Until now, clients representing the Sports, Conference and VIP markets in the USA have been obliged to use dated Boeing 727 airliners, simply because of the absence of newer aircraft. Now, the Airbus A319 Executive has arrived and everything’s changed!
The A319 Executive is like no other; with half the number of seats removed from its traditional airline interior, it offers a choice of 3 seating areas: 12 First Class sleeper seats, 12 Club Class conference style seats and 48 Business Class seats with extended legroom.
The aircraft is fast, quiet and environmentally friendly. Flying from New York City to Los Angeles, the aircraft flies direct, arriving one and a half hours earlier than 727, and burns one whole fuel truck less in the process, whilst being the quietest jet on the market today. Emissions (unbburned hydrocarbons and CO) are 90% less than the 727.
The aircraft is operated under the FAR 121 licence of Frontier Airlines, holders of the Diamond Certificate of Excellence (the FAA’s highest maintenance award).
For more information and pricing, please call our Washington office on +1 202 625 6600.
(as at Nov ‘04 the aircraft is available for US domestic flights only; we anticipate accepting international work from Summer ‘05)
