Farewell to Aero’s ATR aircraft
Finnair’s Estonian subsidiary Aero will fly its farewell flight on 6 January 2008. At the same time ends Finnair’s propeller aircraft era as the ATR-72-201 aircraft, which have been operating under Aero livery, are transferred to new owners.

We did not know the details but we saw the helicopter come and take the passenger to puerto rico. We had gone much further up the coast and around 3-4 o’clock the ship turned around and headed back towards puerto rico where the coast guard met our ship at around 10:00. We were told later that the passenger was ok. US HOUSE CALLS FOR 5 YEAR PHASE-OUT OF STAGE 2 AIRCRAFT
The United States House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee today sent the full House bill H.R.
2881 “The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2007.” The legislation includes a provision for a national phase-out of all non-stage 3 aircraft by 31 December 2012. Similar language has already been inserted into the Senate reauthorization bill. Read the rest of this entry »
